VP Pence even went as far as to attribute the country's "record setting" optimism to him. I've never seen anything quite like it. Watch for yourselves: the June Cabinet Meeting and the December Cabinet Meetings. I would imagine that this nonsense feeds into Trump's wildly skewed world view.
